THE MONTH
Magu Millar
This month, the Person of the Month is Magu Villar. She is multipotential by definition — a communicator, illustrator, and freelance creative based in Buenos Aires. She is the author of Creative Documentation Journal (2022) and co-author of Art Atelier (2021). She is also the founder of the stationery brand Meraki Craft Shop. In addition, she hosts a podcast, runs a creative membership, and leads many other (many!) projects.

My journey combines a visual perspective with the power of words. I’ve always felt the impulse to support and give space to those around me, and from that desire Cultureo was born, a space created to amplify the voices of artists from around the world.
As a photographer, I’ve developed a wide range of creative projects. I’ve worked on music productions, such as video clip coverage for Luck Ra, and on product photography for brands like Cutex, Revlon, and Nike.
As a journalist, I write for various media outlets, including Time Out Buenos Aires and The Green Side of Pink, covering topics related to art, culture, and creative processes.
